Hallcon provides essential services spanning multi-modal operations, integrated command centers, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, technology integration, analytics, business intelligence, fleet management, specialty cleaning, and overall rider experience performance. We are inviting the right leader to join our team and help us drive rapid growth.
Position Summary
This position plays a vital role in supporting the organization's IT infrastructure and products, applications and data systems across multiple North America locations. The infrastructure footprint and responsibilities span hardware, software, network, on-premise, and cloud environments while ensuring reliability, high-availability, and security best practices.
The role also oversees cloud infrastructure and deployment of custom software systems, including management of cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology beyond work and enjoys expanding their capabilities and skills.
This position reports in an office in Lenexa, KS.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, maintain, document, monitor, and optimize the company's core technology systems, including servers, networks, and cloud services to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable business operations
  • Assess, recommend, and implement infrastructure strategies that improve effectiveness and support business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions
  • Recommend and implement automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency, create repeatable processes, and reduce manual intervention
  • Resolve Infrastructure related issues escalated from the Service Desk support technicians and platform
  • Investigate and resolve security alerts triggered by endpoint protection software
  • Lead regularly scheduled maintenance and upgrade activities
  • Ensure backups and disaster recovery/business continuity plans are monitored and up to date
  • Recommend and implement infrastructure and SQL environment monitoring and performance tuning
  • Evaluate new technologies to improve security and reliability
  • Participate in Cybersecurity monitoring, training, and event resolution
  • Lead and complete other special projects as assigned
  • Participate in on-call rotations with occasional after-hours support resolution

Qualifications
  • Expertise in managing Azure and AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud-native solutions
  • Experience in managing Terraform for Infrastructure as Code deployments and PowerShell scripting
  • Experience in managing Windows and Linux Servers
  • Experience in managing virtualized server environments, including VMWare and Hyper-V
  • Experience in managing Active Directory, Meta Entra ID, Teams, One Drive, and SSO
  • Experience with Cloudflare, Cisco, and Meraki
  • Experience with MS SQL Always on Availability Groups
  • Experience with Postgress SQL and HA Proxy
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Asserts ownership for projects and assigned activities, meets deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 productivity tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

Education
  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology, or at least 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or at least 5 years of related experience
  • AWS Certifications are a plus
