CyberLogitec is an IT solution provider specializing in the Maritime, Port, and Logistics industry. With years of experience and industry expertise, CyberLogitec works with global shipping lines, terminal operators, and logistics companies to enhance operational efficiency through advanced technology solutions.

Our Long Beach-based Infrastructure team supports some of the largest terminal operators in the United States, managing enterprise IT environments that support mission-critcal maritime and logistics operations.

We are expanding our team to address complex technology challenges and deliver reliable infrastructure services to our customers.

Position Summary

Our Infrastructure team plays a critical role in delivering reliable technology services to global customers while continuously improving enterprise IT operations through modern infrastructure practices.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Systems Engineer responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving enterprise infrastructure environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

This role will support server, virtualization, networking, security, and cloud technologies while ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of systems supporting both internal operations and customer environments.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on infrastructure professional who can independently troubleshoot complex technical issues, participate in infrastructure projects, and continuously improve operational processes through automation and documentation.

Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Maintain and monitor enterprise infrastructure including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, cloud services, security solutions, and business applications
  • Perform system administration activities including server configuration, operating system maintenance, software deployment, and infrastructure troubleshooting
  • Administer Microsoft environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, and identity/security services
  • Deploy and manage scheduled operating system patches and maintenance activities, including after-hours maintenance windows when required
  • Support virtualization environments including VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, or equivalent technologies
  • Monitor system availability, performance, and security events using enterprise monitoring and management tools
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure issues by performing root cause analysis, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions
  • Support network and security infrastructure including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall, and authentication technologies
  • Maintain backup operations, perform backup validation activities, and assist with disaster recovery planning and testing
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting technologies
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including system configurations, infrastructure diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Collaborate with help desk, application teams, security teams, and customers to resolve incidents and improve service reliability
  • Participate in infrastructure projects including system upgrades, migrations, deployments, and technology improvements
  • Provide technical support for customer environments and participate in incident response activities when required
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations, or related IT roles
  • Strong understanding of enterprise server, operating system, and networking technologies
  • Hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments and Microsoft technologies including Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or equivalent platforms
  • Experience troubleshooting enterprise hardware, software, and infrastructure issues
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and firewall technologies
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for system administration or automation
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance activities during evenings, weekends, or after-hours when required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms such as Nutanix AHV or VMware vSphere administration
  • Experience with enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS, or software-defined storage solutions
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
  • Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with security technologies including endpoint protection, vulnerability management, MFA, and security monitoring solutions
  • Experience supporting customer-facing infrastructure environments
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix, Cisco, AWS, Azure, Linux, or security-related certifications are a plus
