Arclin has an immediate opening for a full-time, Senior Director, IT Infrastructure. This will be a hybrid role (3 Days per week in office), located our of our Corporate Headquarters in Alpharetta, GA.

As we embark on our journey to become a publicly traded entity, we are seeking a transformative leader to modernize our global IT Infrastructure function.

Role Description: The Senior Director of IT Infrastructure is responsible for leading and executing the global IT infrastructure strategy in support of a complex, manufacturing-driven enterprise. This role ensures secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure services across data centers, cloud platforms, networks, and end-user computing while supporting business-critical systems including SAP S/4HANA (RISE) and modern Microsoft platforms.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in manufacturing, chemical, or process industries, strong leadership of both internal teams and vendor-managed services, and demonstrated success operating in global, multi-country environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the global IT Infrastructure strategy, aligned with business growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, cybersecurity risk, and operational resilience.
  • Lead global infrastructure teams across multiple geographies, fostering high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Infrastructure & Cloud Platforms

  • Oversee enterprise infrastructure environments, including:
  • Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra ID)
  • Microsoft Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, governance, cost optimization)
  • On-premise and hybrid data center environments
  • Provide architectural oversight and operational governance for SAP S/4HANA hosted in RISE with SAP, including performance, availability, security, and vendor coordination.

Network & Connectivity

  • Lead global network strategy, design, and operations, including SD-WAN, WAN/LAN, plant-floor connectivity, and secure remote access.
  • Ensure high availability and performance across manufacturing sites, offices, and regional hubs.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Partner closely with Cybersecurity and Risk teams to:
  • Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and resilience
  • Support identity, access management, endpoint security, and network security controls
  • Drive incident response readiness and disaster recovery capabilities

Vendor & Financial Management

  • Manage a hybrid operating model leveraging in-house teams and strategic outsourcing partners.
  • Own vendor performance, contract management, and SLA governance for global infrastructure providers.
  • Manage infrastructure budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and long-term capital planning.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and enforce standards for availability, performance, change management, and service delivery.
  • Ensure infrastructure capabilities support 24x7 manufacturing operations and critical business systems.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and simplification across infrastructure services.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • A Masters Degree is strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or process-industry environment (required).
  • Strong hands-on and leadership experience with:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
  • SAP S/4HANA / RISE with SAP hosting models
  • Demonstrated success managing global infrastructure teams across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Experience leading vendor-managed service models alongside internal teams.
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Enterprise networking and SD-WAN
  • Infrastructure cybersecurity principles and practices
  • High-availability and disaster recovery architectures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting OT / IT convergence in manufacturing environments.
