About the Role

Were looking for a Project Manager who can operate at both a strategic and execution levelsomeone who doesnt just manage timelines, but drives outcomes.
In this role, youll lead the delivery of technical and infrastructure projects across our client base, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical standards, and operational capacity.
Youll serve as the central hub between clients, engineering, and operations, bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to every engagement.
This position operates within our Sea-Level Service Delivery Model, meaning youll play a critical role in aligning Service Desk, Engineering, and Account Management into a unified delivery engine.
What Youll Own

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of client projectsfrom kickoff through closeout
  • Define scope, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts
  • Coordinate internal engineers and external vendors to ensure successful execution
  • Track budgets, costs, and financial performance throughout the lifecycle
  • Maintain structured documentation across AutoTask, IT Glue, and SharePoint
Client Leadership & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project engagements
  • Deliver clear, consistent updates on status, risks, and milestones
  • Set expectations around timelines, dependencies, and change management
  • Lead project kickoff meetings, status reviews, and closeout sessions
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers
Scope, Risk & Change Management

  • Collaborate on Scope of Work (SOW) development and refinement
  • Monitor scope and proactively identify risks or deviations
  • Manage change orders with clear documentation and financial alignment
  • Mitigate risks before they impact delivery, timelines, or budget
  • Escalate conflicts or constraints when necessary to maintain momentum
Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Align project timelines with Service Desk operations and capacity planning
  • Coordinate Level 2, Level 3, and Senior Engineering resources
  • Partner with Account Management and vCIO functions for strategic alignment
  • Participate in internal project reviews and operational planning sessions
Operational Discipline & Reporting

  • Track milestones, deliverables, and overall project performance
  • Maintain accurate, real-time updates within AutoTask
  • Report on budget vs. actuals and project financial health
  • Contribute to L10 meetings and IDS problem-solving discussions
  • Support organizational change management during major deployments

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of project management experience (MSP or IT services strongly preferred)

  • Familiarity with PSA tools (AutoTask preferred) and PM platforms (MS Project, Asana, Jira, etc.)
  • Solid technical understanding of infrastructure, cloud, networking, and security environments

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
