We are currently seeking a Azure Project Manager to join our team in Richmond, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

This position requires US Citizenship or Green Card. (Salary:$130,000 + Benefits)

Job Summary

  • NTT DATA is seeking a highly motivated Azure Project Manager to lead the delivery of cloud transformation and modernization initiatives for enterprise clients. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end Azure projects, driving business value through cloud adoption, and ensuring alignment with NTT DATA’s global delivery standards and client expectations.
  • The ideal candidate will combine strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies and a consulting mindset to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of Azure cloud projects for NTT DATA clients across various industries
  • Manage full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Partner with client stakeholders to define business requirements, project scope, and success criteria
  • Coordinate global delivery teams, including architects, engineers, and offshore resources
  • Drive cloud migration, application modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives on Azure
  • Ensure adherence to NTT DATA delivery frameworks, governance standards, and quality benchmarks
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Provide executive-level reporting, including status updates, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Facilitate Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies based on client engagement needs
  • Support pre-sales activities, including solution shaping, estimates, and client presentations
  • Foster strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in IT, with a focus on cloud or infrastructure projects
  • 3+ years of experience delivering Azure-based solutions or cloud migration programs
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, architecture, and best practices
  • Experience managing distributed/global teams in a consulting or services environment
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-305)
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices
  • Familiarity with cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Prior experience working in a systems integrator or IT consulting firm
  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP) is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $88,538 - $132,562. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
