Cloud Infrastructure Administrator (Mid-Level, Senior or Lead) **Sign on Bonus Potential**

The Boeing Company's Specialized United States Infrastructure Operations organization is currently seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Administrator (Mid-Level, Senior or Lead) to join the team in Berkeley, MO; Seattle, WA; or Daytona Beach, FL.

The Infrastructure team is seeking an experienced cloud infrastructure professional to help design, build, and sustain the foundational cloud environment supporting critical program needs. In this role, the selected candidate will help establish and operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure environments in Microsoft Azure to enable enterprise applications, software toolchains, and digital engineering workloads.

As both an individual contributor and technical leader, this position will work across network, computer, storage, identity, security, and automation domains to deliver repeatable cloud infrastructure patterns and operational excellence.

This role is focused on infrastructure operations, sustainment, automation, and reliability, rather than application software development.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure solutions including networking, compute, storage, identity integration, and supporting services

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash

  • Implement cloud policies to enforce security, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage user access

  • Build repeatable landing zones and cloud infrastructure patterns that support multiple application teams and enterprise services

  • Support environment standup, expansion, patching, upgrades, backup, and disaster recovery planning

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities to maintain infrastructure health and reliability

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues related to connectivity, performance, availability, and integration

  • Support cloud migration planning by preparing foundational infrastructure services and shared dependencies

  • Collaborate with architecture, networking, platform, and application teams to align infrastructure designs with program requirements

  • Document infrastructure standards, operational procedures, and support models

  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers

  • Support operational readiness, change management, and configuration control processes

  • Participate in capacity planning and high availability design efforts

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)

  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Management

  • 3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure and services with Azure or Amazon Web Services

  • 3+ years of experience writing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep, ARM, or Terraform

  • 3+ years of experience writing PowerShell or other scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating system

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

  • Current certifications in Azure Administrator and/or Azure Solutions Architect

  • Experience with Azure networking, private connectivity, DNS, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity

  • Experience supporting regulated or mission-critical environments

  • Experience with Azure policy, governance, subscription management, and resource organization

  • Experience with high availability and resilience engineering

  • Experience with cost optimization and cloud resource governance
