Job Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer I (Network & Systems)
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer I to serve as a technical resource supporting day-to-day execution and new technology deployments across our enterprise facilities. In this role, you will collaborate with senior site infrastructure engineers, project managers, and technical support teams to ensure seamless technology integration, configuration standards, and robust documentation.
This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role combining network/server administration with facility technology support. You will handle basic-to-moderate configuration of infrastructure integration technologies, support due diligence technical assessments, and assist in testing new integration tools. Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Technology Deployments
โข Deployment & Support: Perform engineering tasks associated with the planning, design, installation, testing, deployment, and support of site technologies (approx. 40% time).
โข Configuration: Execute basic-to-moderate configurations of infrastructure integration technologies, partnering with senior engineers to troubleshoot defined problems (approx. 15% time).
โข Testing & Documentation: Assist with testing and documenting new integration tools, methodologies, and infrastructure standards. Maintain and update technical support documentation (approx. 10% time).
Assessments & Project Coordination
โข Due Diligence Support: Support administrative functions related to technical assessments on proposed projects to determine exact requirements and integration points (approx. 20% time).
โข Project Prioritization: Work alongside senior site engineers and project managers to manage concurrent project tasks and adjust priorities to meet organizational needs (approx. 15% time).
โข Facility Infrastructure: Coordinate foundational facility tech support, including structured cabling, UPS systems, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
โข Education: Associate's degree in a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related enterprise experience.
โข Experience Baseline: 3+ years of professional work experience in a medium-to-large, diverse enterprise environment integrating, implementing, and supporting technologies.
โข Technical Mastery:
oSolid foundation in Networking and Servers (Engineer level).
oBasic-level understanding of client/server architecture.
oModerate-level understanding of network and telecommunications architecture.
โข Additional Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Structured Cabling, UPS systems, and Telecom infrastructure.
โข Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite, Visio, and MS Project.

โข Strong customer service focus with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
โข Proven ability to work collaboratively among IT professionals and outside vendors in a fast-paced environment.
