Job description

Locusview, Itron's digital construction management platform, helps utilities modernize how they plan, build, capture, and manage critical infrastructure. We are looking for a Product Manager to help drive the evolution of our next-generation, mobile-first platform, enabling field and office users to seamlessly access, capture, and manage geospatial asset and construction data in real time. This role will partner closely with Engineering, UX, Customer Success, and external customers to define product capabilities, prioritize investments, and deliver scalable solutions that improve utility construction and asset management workflows.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Own product initiatives for Locusview's next-generation mobile and web platform, from discovery through launch.
  • Champion a mobile-first user experience for field crews, inspectors, designers, and back-office users.
  • Define and prioritize capabilities focused on GIS, geospatial data management, as-built documentation, digital construction, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable product solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering and UX to deliver intuitive, high-quality experiences that improve productivity and data accuracy.
  • Use customer feedback, usage analytics, and market insights to inform roadmap recommendations and product decisions.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to support product adoption, value realization, and long-term customer success.
  • Explore innovative uses of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance user workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate Itron's values by being customer-centric, authentic, accountable, agile, collaborative, and innovative.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or technology environments.
  • Strong knowledge of GIS, geospatial data models, mapping technologies, and location-based workflows.
  • Experience working with platforms such as Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Utility Network, or similar GIS ecosystems.
  • Experience with integrations to core utility enterprise systems like FSM, MWFM, and other OT/IT systems.
  • Experience building or managing mobile applications and field workforce solutions.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements, user stories, and roadmap priorities.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional product development environments.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience with utility operations, digital construction management, asset management, work management, field service, or infrastructure software.
  • Familiarity with geospatial technologies such as PostGIS, GeoJSON, GPS/GNSS data, mobile data collection, spatial analytics, and geospatial APIs.
  • Experience working with electric, gas, water, or telecommunications utilities.
  • Experience incorporating AI, automation, or analytics capabilities into enterprise software products.
Travel

~15% domestic travel is expected.
