Job description

The Manager, IT Infrastructure is responsible for global infrastructure and information security resources including networks, data centers, systems, and information security tools, policies, and procedures in both the IT and OT environments. The selected candidate will be accountable for delivering information security solutions (IT & OT), maintaining network and infrastructure performance at the agreed service levels to support our business applications and end users.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive strategy and execution of all information Security and IT Infrastructure related initiatives.
  • Partners with Operations & Production leadership teams to ensure roles and responsibilities for the Operations Technology environment are clearly identified.
  • Ensure systems, globally are patches, secured and in line with Global Information Security (GIS) standards.
  • Participates in new business initiatives & product development activities to promote and implement functionality to support compliance requirements.
  • Sets usage and security policies for information sharing on internal and external platforms.
  • Proactively improve Information Security and IT infrastructure, processes, and policies
  • Recommend and implement new technology to improve reliability and performance of IT services, security, governance, and user experience
  • Coordinates business continuity planning efforts across business units and the integrated services group.
  • Oversee multi-institution collaborations and oversee the development of IT architecture for all the technical activities of the organization including data processing, sharing and analysis and expansion and implementation.
  • Oversee incident response activities, risk assessment and risk management activities and vulnerability assessment and vulnerability management activities.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure technology roadmap including appropriate use of cloud computing services where applicable.
  • Develop and manage Disaster Recovery plans and testing to restore all computing operations at agreed service levels
  • Develop and maintain data privacy policies and procedures that include data retention.
  • Develop and implement security design & procedures for the OT environment that enables support from 3rd party vendors & access to production machine data while significantly reducing the risk profile.
  • Develops corrective action plans for identified compliance issues and collaborates with operational teams to implement and maintain any required safeguards and remediation measures.
  • Monitors regulatory compliance with enterprise security policies and educates business leaders on compliance efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of experience with infrastructure and network management
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder
  • Experience managing/leading others in an Information Technology setting.
  • Competent in IT risk assessment and management, IT continuity management, IT governance formulation, and organizational change management.
  • Ability to understand complex regulatory and contractual requirements and create effective compliance systems.
  • Working knowledge of IT financial management and IT audit.
  • Demonstrates ability to quickly grasp new concepts and integrate them into projects as appropriate and to rapidly and effectively determine the required action in a new situation.
  • Strong network design knowledge and management skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems: storage, server, virtual environments, Active Directory, backup technologies.
  • Demonstrates ability to spearhead and oversee complex projects.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Technically savvy with current IT technologies such as VPN, Cloud Computing Services, Windows Server and Desktop OS, MS Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, Veeam, Azure, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in project management, vendor procurement, resource management, scheduling, planning, deployment, support and training including experience in working within PMO, change management and governance models
  • Knowledge of process management improvement practices change management processes, and operation services. Demonstrated project management expertise required, including ability to manage complex projects.
  • Ability to travel about 10% of the time.

EDUCATION
  • Undergraduate degree (MIS or Computer Science), or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates technical competence and ability.
