Infrastructure Engineer
Onsite | Immediate Hire | $40-50/hour
CFS Technology has partnered with a growing organization seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to provide day-to-day operational support across the company's Microsoft environment, business systems, and infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, supporting end users, managing system migrations, and ensuring the stability of critical business applications and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Office 365, Active Directory, user support, system administration, and IT operations, along with the ability to effectively manage escalated tickets and support ongoing technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical support tickets and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, group policies, and access controls within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and licensing.
  • Provide day-to-day support for end users, business applications, and enterprise systems.
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, user provisioning, and security access reviews.
  • Support infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, cloud initiatives, and technology implementations.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to servers, networking, Microsoft environments, endpoints, and business applications.
  • Maintain endpoint compliance, patching, and device management through Microsoft Intune and related tools.
  • Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support ongoing operations.
  • Document technical procedures, support processes, and system configurations.
  • Monitor system health, backups, and operational performance to ensure reliability and availability.
  • Help identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a related IT role.
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Hands-on experience administering Active Directory, Group Policy, and Entra ID.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of endpoint management and device administration using Intune or similar tools.
  • Experience troubleshooting user access, authentication, email, and application support issues.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and networking fundamentals.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting migrations, system upgrades, and technology rollouts is highly preferred.
  • PowerShell or other scripting experience is a plus.
