Infrastructure Engineering - Advisor II
TITLE: Infrastructure Engineering - Advisor II
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure architecture that supports scalable, resilient, and efficient operations. Develop and execute an automation strategy aimed at streamlining infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management processes. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate the deployment and management of resources, while creating and maintaining code and tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system performance. Collaborate with cyber security and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions into security protocols and operational workflows. Identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations for enhanced service availability. Provide visibility and safety for operations teams, ensuring they have the necessary insights and protections to efficiently manage and respond to potential issues within the infrastructure. Ensure that automation practices adhere to security and compliance standards, incorporating best practices into the automation framework. Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes, architectures, and procedures. Provide training and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on automation tools, practices, and architecture.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving ServiceNow development and architecture experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years working with infrastructure automation programing languages including Python and PowerShell; 4 years working in AWS Cloud infrastructure engineering and architecture; 3 years architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines; and 3 years designing and building APIs using protocols including REST, SOAP, or GraphQL, and 3 years implementing APIs with Python or JavaScript.
