Job description

EnTech Engineering, PC is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction management firm devoted to delivering best-in-class design and construction support services for infrastructure and facility projects that strengthen communities nationwide. Based in New York City, our firm is made of engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities that surround us.

About the Role:

The full-time "Cost Estimator / Cost Analyst" will prepare independent estimates, review contractor pricing, evaluate change orders, and support cost tracking for public construction projects.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Review contractor proposals and pricing.
  • Evaluate change orders.
  • Review unit-price and time-and-material costs.
  • Track project costs and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare cost reports and communicate findings to the project team.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in estimating or cost control.
  • Experience with public construction projects.
  • Experience with unit-price or time-and-material pricing.
  • Ability to accurately review contractor proposals, change orders, and project cost data.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certification in cost estimating or cost analysis.
Estimated Annual Compensation:

$124,800โ€“$145,600 annually

NYC All Boroughs - Various Locations: ( hybrid position that requires attendance at field meetings, site visits, and travel to field offices as needed )
