Hybrid role - Urgent client needs Infrastructure Architect

Infrastructure Architect | AWS | Azure | Hybrid Cloud | Enterprise Infrastructure

Sunnyvale, CA 94085 - 3 days/week WFO

6 Months

Performance Expectations:

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and govern scalable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-prem environments for enterprise programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Define end-to-end infrastructure architecture (compute, network, storage, security)

Lead cloud strategy & architecture (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform) including migration & modernization

Drive high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization frameworks

Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams for integrated solutions

Establish infrastructure standards, governance, and best practices

Provide technical leadership and support large transformation programs

Evaluate new technologies and recommend scalable solutions

Core Skills & Experience:

10 15+ years in IT infrastructure, with 3 5 years in architect roles

Strong expertise in Cloud Platforms (AWS/Simcloud) and hybrid architectures

Deep knowledge of Networking, Virtualization, Storage, and Security

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)

Experience with IaC tools (Terraform/ARM/Bicep) and automation

Strong stakeholder management and solutioning skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: AWS Architect / TOGAF (good to have)

Experience in large-scale enterprise or managed services environments
