Job description

Title: Cloud and Systems Architech
Location - The candidate must reside in Tallahassee, or the surrounding area, and report in office 5-days a week
Overview
We are seeking a Cloud and Systems Architect to oversee, manage, and execute cloud services and platforms, ensuring the optimization of infrastructure, applications, and data. The role involves designing, upgrading, and administering cloud environments while driving modernization and migration efforts.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Required:
    • 2-3 years of experience as a Microsoft Azure Cloud Systems Architect.
    • 5-8 years of experience in information systems engineering or a related field.
    • 2-3 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture.
  • Highly Desired:
    • Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • 5 years of experience supporting middleware technologies (API Management, IT Service Automation, batch job services).
    • 2-3 years of experience in Microsoft software administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, and oversee multi-cloud environments.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft platforms.
  • Lead cloud modernization and migration efforts.
  • Develop and manage Azure DevOps projects, repositories, and pipelines.
  • Automate processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Enhance infrastructure, application, and system monitoring to ensure high availability.
  • Evaluate and optimize cloud-based risk, cost, and performance factors.
  • Provide technical oversight and troubleshooting for developers and architects.
  • Lead technology initiatives across infrastructure, data management, security, and compliance.
  • Present findings and recommendations on emerging technologies and best practices.

Key Skills & Abilities
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture.
  • Strong understanding of cloud governance, automation, and security best practices.
  • Ability to design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across matrixed teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
