Job description

What you'll do

Manage water and wastewater infrastructure and process design projects for municipal and private sector clients
Lead project teams in the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Oversee hydraulic modeling and system analysis using tools such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWorks WS, or InfoWater
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders including water/sewer authorities
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project delivery
Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance development for project staff
Utilize project tracking tools to monitor progress, resources, and financial performance
Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

What you bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
7+ years of experience in the design and management of municipal water and wastewater projects
Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office applications
Experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater (Innovyze) preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple large or complex projects simultaneously
Experience leading and developing project teams
Strong understanding of project management principles including scope, schedule, and budget control
Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Vision or Microsoft Project
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach
Experience working on projects located in the southeastern United States preferred
