Development Resident Engineer II//TL//Troy, MIThe Opportunity:

The Vehicle Component Solutions (VS) Company focuses on commercializing environmentally responsible automotive components and core solutions based on proprietary technologies. As a leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, the VS Company supports the emerging trends in the vehicle industry.

As the Development Engineer II, you will:
  • Provide local engineering support for vehicle infotainment and telematics product development

  • Conduct vehicle integration testing and onroad evaluation of infotainment functionality and performance

  • Verify and reproduce reported issues, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution

  • Support technical communication and meetings with customers, including issue tracking and improvement activities

  • Support software release and onvehicle software updates

  • Review and coordinate improvement plans through collaboration with HQ development engineers

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

  • Working knowledge of Android OS, Linux, and automotive software systems (e.g., GitHub, MICOM, APIs)

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%

Preferred:
  • Experience with CANoe and Automotive Ethernet
