Information Technology Weekend Jobs in Pooler, GA

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support within a large distribution center environment. This role serves as the primary onsite IT contact, supporting warehouse operations, office staff, and critical technology across a high-volume hardware environment.

• Provide onsite desktop and end-user support throughout the distribution center and office spaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving:
  • Windows-based workstations
  • Zebra scanners, printers, and mobile devices
  • Time clocks and warehouse technology
• Support a large-scale hardware environment consisting of 2,000-3,000+ endpoints.
• Manage and resolve incidents through ServiceNow.
• Perform device deployments, replacements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide basic audio/visual support, including conference room technology and Cisco WebEx-enabled devices.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize incidents and manage support queues.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and serve as the primary onsite IT resource.

• 1-3 years of IT support experience.
• Experience providing hands-on desktop support, field support, or onsite technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with:
  • Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
  • Laptops, desktops, printers, and related hardware
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Comfortable walking the facility and standing for extended periods throughout the day.

• Experience supporting technology in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Candidates need to live in or near the Ellabell or Savannah region, as this is on-site.
• Hands-on experience with Zebra devices, including scanners, printers, and mobile computers.
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
• Experience with endpoint management and support tools.
• Exposure to audio/visual technologies, including Cisco WebEx conference room solutions.

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr.
