Qualifications

IT Security Analyst requires:

  • bachelors degree in computer related field
  • Understanding of computer IT, SQL queries and networking
  • Skilled and proficient in problem solving, with an aptitude to learn new technologies.
  • Experience in Security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications and network protocols.
  • Network operations or engineering or System administration on Unix, Linux, or Window
  • experience of network and host security technologies and products (such as Firewalls, Network IDS, scanners)

IT Security Analyst duties:

  • Uses security monitoring tools to review and investigate data security incidents and recommends appropriate corrective actions.
  • Handle alerts and phishing emails escalated
