Job description

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining the operational security posture for an information system
  • Work in close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO
  • Manage the security aspects of an information system
  • Include physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training and awareness
  • Develop and update authorization documentation
  • Implement configuration management across authorization boundaries
  • Assess security impact of changes and make recommendations to the ISSM
  • Support Department of Defense (DoD) agencies
  • Provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities
  • Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with security authorization package
Requirements
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Information Security
  • Information Security Management
  • Information System Security Certifications: None
  • US Citizenship Required: Yes
  • Experience in roles such as System, Network Administrator, or ISSO
  • Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
  • Certifications: IAT Level II or IAM Level II (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
