Job description

We’re looking for a reliable and knowledgeable IT Technician with specialized experience in dental practice management software and support. This hybrid role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who thrives in a flexible environment but understands the importance of on-site presence when needed. You'll be the go-to resource for supporting dental clinics with technology setup, troubleshooting, and delivery of new equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support remotely and on-site for dental offices using Dentrix and DEXIS.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, imaging devices).
  • Deliver and set up computers at client locations as needed.
  • Manage and track service tickets through Autotask (or similar PSA tools).
  • Troubleshoot network issues, software installations, and integrations between dental systems.
  • Maintain clear documentation and client records.
  • Ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling and maintain cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT support experience, ideally within a dental or healthcare setting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Dentrix and DEXIS is preferred
  • Familiarity with Autotask or similar PSA platforms is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Windows environments, networking, and remote desktop support.
  • Windows Server and desktop Administration experience required 
  • Datto RMM and BCDR administration experience preferred 
  • Watchguard Firewalls experience prefferred 
  • Ubiquiti experience preferred (network and firewalls) 
  • Beyond Trust experience preferred (bomgar)
