Job Description:

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their temporary IT Intern position in the Office of Office of Information Technology and Data Resources (ITDR). The IT Intern will support the IT department in various tasks and projects, gaining practical experience and knowledge in the field of Information Technology. This position will end December 18, 2026, working an average of 20 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with the maintenance and support of IT systems

  • Assisting employees with troubleshooting issues

  • Assisting with ongoing projects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in or have obtained a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, or Linux.

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and devices.

  • Experience with common office software and productivity tools.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
