Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead medium to large, complex initiatives with minimal supervision through:
    • Partnering with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements.
    • Translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
    • Reviewing end-to-end process analysis, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Facilitating requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions.
    • Acting as a primary liaison between business, technology teams, and vendors.
    • Ensuring alignment of solutions to business strategy and objectives.
    • Supporting solution design by collaborating with architects and developers.
    • Driving traceability from requirements through delivery and testing.
    • Participating actively in testing strategy, test case definition, and validation of outcomes.
    • Identifying and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
    • Ensuring clear and consistent communication across stakeholders at multiple levels.
    • Facilitating conflict resolution and stakeholder alignment in ambiguous situations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience with business systems analysis, including system development, system configuration, business process analysis, and project management.
  • Skills & Licensing: Business Analyst certification (e.g. IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) a plus.
  • Technical Competencies: Possesses strong business and technology knowledge to understand business needs, make informed decisions, and deliver effective technology solutions, including related processes and procedures. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills to efficiently identify issues, determine root causes, and propose and implement effective solutions or improvements.
