Quanex is looking for a Financial Systems Manager to join our team located in Houston, TX.
The Financial Systems Manager role is highly visible and is responsible for administering OneStream, our consolidation tool. This hands-on technical position partners with various departments within the global finance organization to enhance and improve our use of OneStream. The Financial Systems Manager will be a subject matter expert in all aspects of OneStream including implementing new functionality, maintaining the current environment, and facilitating the accounting close process.

What Success Looks Like:
  • Facilitate monthly financial consolidation and forecasting in OneStream, including ensuring data accuracy and proper elimination of intercompany balances.
  • Manage daily operations of OneStream including end-user support requests including mapping changes, troubleshooting during monthly close and general use questions.
  • Proactively and frequently communicate with customers including finance and IT personnel to build and maintain a solid working relationship.
  • Develop and maintain OneStream functionality to enhance the ability to report, budget, and forecast using OneStream.
  • Maintain a proper control environment for OneStream including support for audit purposes.
  • Contribute to special projects, including system enhancements, upgrades, and business combinations, as needed.
  • Provide training and documentation for end users as needed for beginning to expert experience levels.
  • Update and develop calculation and other logic as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Your Credentials:
  • 3+ years of proven experience in financial systems administration/implementation.
  • Experience working in OneStream and/or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • Minimum B.S. in Information Systems, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Experience with writing SQL queries.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proactive self-starter with a desire to provide value and excellent customer service to Corporate and Divisional departments.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $160,000 with the potential to receive an annual bonus up to a maximum of 50% of your annual base salary.
