Job description

Armed Security Officer- Distribution

We are seeking a highly skilled Armed Security Officer to protect client assets, ensure the safety of personnel, and maintain a secure environment at designated locations. This position requires vigilance, sound judgment under pressure, and strict adherence to all security protocols and regulations.

This role is considered safety-sensitive due to responsibilities involving public interaction, emergency response, and the authorized handling of firearms. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, composure, and the ability to make responsible decisions in high-stress situations. #NER123

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify potential security risks or hazards

· Deter, detect, and respond to security threats or incidents professionally and appropriately

· Control access points and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized entry

· Provide emergency response including de-escalation, detainment support, or coordination with law enforcement when required

· Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation

· Interact with the public in a professional and respectful manner while enforcing site rules

· Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Experience: Prior experience in Military Police, law enforcement, corrections, or comparable armed security role required

· Licensing: Valid armed guard license where required by state law

o Legal authorization to carry and operate a firearm in accordance with applicable regulations

· Training: Certification in arrest control, restraint techniques, or equivalent defensive tactics

· Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local security and firearm regulations

· Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
