Job description

Savan is seeking a Privacy Analyst to support federal clients in implementing and maintaining privacy compliance programs. The Privacy Analyst partners with program offices and privacy officials to prepare privacy documentation, assess compliance requirements, and support the successful delivery of agency privacy initiatives.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a client-facing consulting environment.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain privacy compliance documentation, including:
    • Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTAs)
    • Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
    • System of Records Notices (SORNs)
    • Information Sharing Agreements (ISAs)
    • Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) documentation
  • Coordinate with program offices and privacy officials to facilitate reviews and approvals.
  • Support privacy compliance reviews and identify potential risks.
  • Assist with business process analysis and privacy recommendations.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide project support.
  • Collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting federal privacy programs or privacy compliance initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of the Privacy Act, E-Government Act, and FISMA.
  • Experience preparing privacy compliance documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
  • Experience supporting FEMA, DHS, or other federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with Privacy by Design principles.

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $70K–$95K. This range represents Savan Group’s good faith estimate at the time of posting and is not a guarantee of compensation.
Final compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, internal equity, market conditions, and geographic location. For positions supporting federal contracts, compensation may also be subject to applicable labor category requirements, contract terms, funding, and other contract-specific provisions. As a result, actual compensation may vary from the posted salary range.
