Seeking Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to support our Client’s challenging operational requirements at multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area.  


What will you do?

VTG is seeking a Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to support our Client in the Northern Virginia area.


Do you have what it takes?

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and
    • 7-12 years of applicable experience (Level 3)
    • 12-20 years of applicable experience (Level 4)
    • 20+ years of applicable experience (Level 5) 
  • Cable writing experience 
  • Experience conducting vulnerability analysis or surveys
  • Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings
  • Strong knowledge of foreign adversaries’ intelligence capabilities including cyber/technical, information operations, and HUMINT
  • Understanding of offensive and defensive counter-intelligence methods
  • Familiarity with the concepts involved in CI risk analysis including insider threat detection
  • Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of intelligence operations to include risk assessment
  • For level 5: at least 2 total overseas tours (CONUS or OCONUS) or 4 years worth of TDY experience
  • Must possess a high level US Government issued clearance at the time of application

Desired Qualifications:

  • Candidates with a Master’s degree are highly desirable.
  • Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
  • Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases to craft targeting packages
  • Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
  • Formal CI training and/or certifications
  • Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
  • Foreign languages skills
