Detroit IT is looking for Service Desk Assistant/IT Assistant to assist their Service Desk team.


The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. 


Job Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Service Desk with packaging and shipping of IT equipment to clients.
  • Assist the Service Desk team with data entry of client information
  • Organize and maintain and up to date inventory of IT equipment.
  • Assist team in picking-up and delivering items to clients or for internal use when necessary.
  • Report daily work accomplished orally or via email to CTO.


 Requirements


  • Proven experience as an office assistant, virtual assistant or in another relevant administrative role
  • Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems 
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
