Job Summary

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to enhance healthcare delivery? International Community Health Services is seeking a Clinical Informatics Director to lead the optimization and management of our Epic EMR system. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between clinical teams, IT and external partners, ensuring that our EMR supports efficient workflows, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

What Youโ€™ll do:

  • Lead the Clinical Informatics Team in collaborating with clinicians, IT, Data and Quality teams to improve Epic usability, standardize and optimize clinical workflows.
  • Develop and oversee training and superuser programs for new and existing users
  • Lead and mentor a team of clinical informaticists
  • Collaborate with respective teams to ensure data integrity, interoperability, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Lead the Clinical Informatics Team in collaborating with clinicians, IT, Data and Quality teams to improve Epic usability, standardize and optimize clinical workflows.
  • Develop and oversee training and superuser programs for new and existing users
  • Lead and mentor a team of clinical informaticists
  • Collaborate with respective teams to ensure data integrity, interoperability, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
What we're looking for:
  • 7 years experience in Healthcare Informatics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Extensive experience in ambulatory care, FQHC'sor community health settings
  • Expertise in workflow definition, change management and training
  • Ability to work 4 days on-site in the Greater Seattle area.

Education - Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Health Administration, Information Technology or a related field.

Experience - Seven (7) years of experience in healthcare informatics, including at least three (3) years in a leadership role. Extensive experience with Epic EMR, including standardization of workflows, implementation, and optimization preferred.Experience working in a community health or ambulatory care setting preferred. Strong background in clinical workflow redesign, change management, and management of teams preferred.

Other Requirement(s) - Active, unencumbered Washington State clinical license (RN, RT, MD, ARNP, PA-C, PT, OT, SLP, LPN, etc.). Ability to travel between ICHS sites as needed. If using a personal vehicle to travel, valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance is required.
