Team members collaborate across disciplines to design and implement projects that address social challenges and advance equitable access to information.
Role Description The Information Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining information resources that support GLOCA’s programs, reports, and public communications. Day-to-day tasks include managing databases and digital repositories, analyzing data and documentation for accuracy and relevance, and preparing clear summaries, briefs, and reference materials for internal and external stakeholders. The Information Specialist will collaborate with program teams to identify information needs, ensure secure and compliant handling of data, and support the development of information policies and best practices. The role also involves coordinating with IT and cybersecurity professionals to safeguard information systems and contributing to continuous improvement of information workflows and tools.
