WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Sr. Integration Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration and data integration solutions using MuleSoft, TIBCO, and Informatica. This role drives integration modernization through API-led, microservices-based, and data integration architectures while partnering with architects, application teams, data engineering teams, and offshore resources to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

1. Integration Development & Engineering Delivery

        Design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations using MuleSoft and modern integration patterns.

        Lead integration projects, coordinate offshore resources, and promote development best practices.

        Build reusable, scalable integrations with effective error handling, monitoring, and performance optimization.

2. TIBCO Integration Development & Legacy Support

        Support and enhance TIBCO-based integrations and messaging services.

        Troubleshoot integration issues and support modernization efforts from legacy platforms to MuleSoft and cloud-native architectures.

3. Informatica Data Integration & ETL Development

        Design, develop, support, and optimize Informatica ETL and data integration solutions.

        Develop mappings, workflows, data transformation logic, and data movement processes using Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

        Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to support enterprise data integration initiatives.

        Troubleshoot ETL failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks while ensuring data integrity and reliability.

4. Integration Design Collaboration & Code Quality

        Partner with architects, application teams, and data teams to deliver integration and data integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

        Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.

5. Legacy Modernization & Microservices Enablement

        Refactor legacy integrations into reusable APIs and microservices.

        Support API-led connectivity initiatives and migration from legacy middleware and ETL platforms to modern integration and cloud-based solutions.

        Participate in integration platform modernization initiatives involving MuleSoft, TIBCO, and Informatica.

6. Production Support & Operational Excellence

        Support enterprise integrations, APIs, ETL processes, and production issue resolution.

        Partner with application, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure platform reliability, performance, and availability.

        Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

        8 years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware development, API engineering, and data integration.

        Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API development, DataWeave, REST APIs, and API-led connectivity.

        Strong experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks, enterprise messaging, event-driven architectures, and legacy modernization.

        Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/CDI), including ETL development, data transformation, workflow design, data quality concepts, and production support.

        Experience integrating applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise data ecosystems.

        Experience with cloud and hybrid environments (AWS preferred).

        Experience supporting enterprise integrations, ETL processes, code reviews, engineering standards, and CI/CD practices.

        Strong understanding of integration patterns, data transformation, ETL architecture, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

        Experience with relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and data movement strategies.

        Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

        MuleSoft, TIBCO, and Informatica certifications are a plus.
