Salary range (but not limited to):

118,700 - 145,100

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

The Role

As a specialist software developer, you bring strong modeling experience, excellent analytical skills, and technical leadership. You design and evolve our data platform, which is used on a large scale for business decisions and high-impact innovative initiatives.

Technology Environment

Informatica Power Center experience, Snowflake Iceberg experience Cloud migration experience, Snowflake (SQL), S3, Git, Unix, Visual Studio Code, Control-M. Always on the lookout for new tools, we test and approve those that could improve our daily operations.

Your Daily Mission

  • Integrated into a multidisciplinary team, you balance autonomy with collective work to deliver user-centered solutions.

  • Design, develop, and optimize ingestion and transformation pipelines (batch and real-time).

  • Model robust analytical data (star, Data Vault, bronze/silver/gold) for BI and data science.

  • Improve reliability, performance, and governance (security, cataloging, quality, costs).

  • Collaborate with analysts, testers, architects, and stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance to the team, promote best practices (code reviews, standards, tests, documentation), and drive change.

  • Contribute to an Agile culture (Scrum/Kanban) focused on value and incremental delivery.

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent.

  • 10 years in software/data engineering, including ETL/ELT and large-scale data warehousing.

  • Proficient in data modeling and analytical architectures.

  • Excellent SQL skills and optimization; hands-on experience with Snowflake.

  • Strong knowledge of Unix and the Cloud ecosystem (preferably AWS).

  • Python and Java (a plus).

  • Experience with CI/CD, automated data testing, quality/observability.

  • Basic understanding of AI/machine learning (advantageous for collaborating with Data Science).

  • Bilinguism (FR-EN) - For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.

  • Eligible to work in Canada; no prior Canadian work experience required.
