This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to provide therapy from a location that suits your needs, in alignment with our commitment to accessible and convenient mental health services. The hours are typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient availability to accommodate varying needs.

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and assess their current mental health needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping mechanisms tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, foster coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s well-being are addressed.
• Provide crisis intervention during acute trauma situations, offering immediate support and actionable resources to clients in distress.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping techniques, and available support resources within the community.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems, conforming to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education activities focused on trauma-informed care to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and evidence-based best practices in trauma therapy to inform your treatment approach and improve patient outcomes.

This role primarily focuses on working with individuals affected by trauma, including those struggling with PTSD and complex trauma responses. Our client base varies widely, presenting unique challenges and experiences that require a nuanced understanding of trauma and its effects on mental health. As a therapist, your insights and support will be vital to help guide patients on their recovery journeys.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in the mental health field, preferably with trauma populations.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Practical experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, such as EMDR and TF-CBT.
• Proven ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using EHR systems and other relevant computer applications to streamline documentation and patient care.
