Description

** SIGN ON BONUS AND RETENTION BONUS **

We are looking for a talented Welders/Fabricators with advanced welding and fabrication skills to join our ADC Team. We are a small, family run business who prides itself on our culture in providing a safe and creative working environment for our Employee Team Members and listening to their ideas to improve upon our design, manufacturing, and customer focused processes for our customer's rollover protective structures.

Competitive salaries based on applicant's skill level.


Shift Hours/Premium:

  • First Shift hours are Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Additional overtime as needed

General Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) on mild steel
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and weld symbols to comply with standards
  • Lay out, align, fit and weld fabricated steel components to assemble structural forms
  • Accurately measure weld sizes with proper gauges
  • Record production times use to ensure accuracy of labor tracking, production control
  • Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on weld machines
  • Select and set up weld equipment
  • Communicate between supervisors, quality management, engineering and production floor to solve any fit-up problems, print errors, and/or inconsistencies
  • Follow detailed instructions, working in a timely fashion to comply with allotted time and ship dates
  • Ability to respond quickly to priority changes and work well under pressure due to scheduling constraints and perform quality work in a safe and efficient manner

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5 years of GMAW welding and fabrication experience
  • Must pass AWS D1.1 qualification test and written weld test to be considered for employment
  • Skilled in technique for finish grinding/polishing
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure
  • Employee must be able to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Employee is required to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Employee must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and occasionally sit, climb or balance
  • Employee will be required to do repetitive hand eye work

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Welding Degree preferred
  • Must pass AWS D1.1 qualification test
