This role emphasizes the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality while utilizing digital platforms to deliver clients the care they need.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their mental health needs. Use standardized tools and reporting systems to create detailed treatment plans aligned with their goals.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or Trauma-Informed Care to support clients in overcoming anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
• Set collaborative therapeutic goals with each client, regularly reviewing and adjusting plans based on their progress and feedback, ensuring a person-centered approach.
• Offer teletherapy as a primary modality, utilizing secure telehealth platforms to facilitate sessions for clients, particularly those facing transportation or mobility barriers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Engage actively in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and peer consultations to stay updated on emerging research and best practices in mental health therapy.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Infinity Wellness Center, you will primarily work with adults struggling with a range of mental health conditions including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related issues, and more. Our clients may vary in their backgrounds, presenting challenges that require not only clinical expertise but also cultural sensitivity and empathy. You will be instrumental in facilitating their journeys toward healing and self-discovery.

• A current and valid therapist license in the state of New York: either as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and to build a trusting, therapeutic relationship with clients.
• A strong empathy for clients' experiences while maintaining a non-judgmental approach in all interactions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills necessary for managing a diverse caseload.

Previous experience in a community health setting or private practice is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will serve candidates well in this role. Experience with diverse populations and an array of therapeutic techniques will further enhance your fit for our team.
