Position Overview

Infinity Care Plus Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our compassionate team. This full-time, remote position allows you to engage directly with clients across California, providing essential mental health services and guidance. Work Environment

In this remote role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of licensed therapists and healthcare professionals within an outpatient office setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments that evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of your clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances of each client, integrating considerations of their mental health history, medical conditions, and social dynamics.
  • Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address specific mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.
  • Collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care strategies for clients with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families, informing them about mental health conditions, treatment processes, and available community resources to enhance support systems.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client sessions, treatment progress, and outcomes ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele, including older adults and individuals facing unique mental health challenges. You will engage with elderly patients experiencing cognitive changes, mental illnesses, and significant life transitions. This role requires a depth of understanding and empathy towards the unique struggles faced by this population, allowing you to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
  • A strong grasp of best practices in geriatric mental health, including familiarity with the diagnostic criteria and treatment plans for older adults.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on empathy and patient-centered approaches.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and other digital tools for therapy delivery.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health settings, preferably with clientele that includes older adults.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy, with a focus on integrating family dynamics into the therapeutic process.
  • A track record of collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic mental health care.
  • Familiarity with local community resources and support services available for mental health patients.
