Job description

Architect - Healthcare (Hybrid)

A well-established architecture firm in the Detroit area, with more than 50 years as a staple in the community, is seeking an Architect to join its Healthcare team. The firm maintains a diverse portfolio across multiple sectors and is known for long-term client relationships and a collaborative studio environment.

This role offers a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to support healthcare projects while also gaining exposure to other project types as needed. The position is well-suited for an architect who enjoys being involved across the full project lifecycle and working closely with internal teams and consultants.

Responsibilities
Develop design concepts, produce construction documents (CDs), and coordinate consultant efforts
Support all phases of project work from Schematic Design (SD) through Construction Administration (CA) and project completion
Coordinate RFI and submittal reviews, drawing revisions, and supplemental construction-phase documentation
Work collaboratively within a team-oriented studio environment
Contribute to presentations and maintain organized project documentation

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
5+ years of professional architectural experience
Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
Experience supporting Healthcare projects is preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative environment
