Job description

Title: Junior IT Business Support Analyst (Coordinator)

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite in Downtown Dallas)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior IT Business Support Analyst (Coordinator) to support enterprise applications and business systems within a dynamic IT environment. This role will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations, and business stakeholders to maintain application portfolios, coordinate cross-functional activities, and support system documentation efforts.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting enterprise applications, coordinating projects and stakeholders, and working with tools such as ServiceNow, MS Visio, Smartsheets, or Orbus Infinity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational and technical support for enterprise applications and business systems.
  • Maintain and update application portfolio information, including application ownership, integrations, and system dependencies.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather, validate, and update system information.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining system architecture, process flow, and data flow diagrams.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-up activities, and stakeholder communications across multiple teams.
  • Support project-related activities including documentation, tracking action items, and status reporting.
  • Assist with review requests, issue tracking, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure application and system records remain accurate and up to date.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, business systems, or IT operations.
  • Experience with at least two of the following tools:
    • ServiceNow
    • Microsoft Visio
    • Smartsheets
    • Orbus Infinity
  • Understanding of IT support processes and enterprise application environments.
  • Experience coordinating activities across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating system architecture, application, or data flow diagrams.
  • Exposure to Enterprise Architecture practices and application portfolio management.
  • Experience supporting IT governance, PMO, or technology operations initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
