Job description

Infectious Diseases Physician (BC/BE) - Focus on Transplant & Immunocompromised Hosts

We are looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Infectious Diseases physician to join our expanding and collaborative team in a sought-after location in the East Bay area of California. This role offers a part-time commitment of 0.8 FTE, with the possibility of increasing hours for the right candidate.

Position Highlights
  • The ideal applicant will have formal training in Transplant Infectious Diseases or a strong interest and experience in managing immunocompromised patients, particularly those with:
    • Hematologic malignancies
    • Cellular therapies (e.g., CAR-T)
    • Bone marrow transplant (BMT) recipients
  • Join a referral center specializing in adult leukemia and lymphoma, which is rapidly expanding its cellular therapies program.
  • Collaborate closely with an experienced physician who leads the hematologic malignancy ID service, with opportunities to further develop the program.
  • Participate in general ID call on a 1:6 rotation with a supportive group of five ID physicians.
Academic & Professional Opportunities
  • Engage in teaching and mentoring Internal Medicine residents.
