As an Infection Preventionist Nurse, you are at the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by providing education to staff and assisting with the development, implementation and enforcement of infection control policies and procedures, identifying, controlling, and preventing outbreaks of infection in the facility, collecting and analyzing infection control data and acting as an infection control resource for employees, residents, and their family members. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

  • As a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing or related field;

  • An unencumbered State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN);

  • C.P.R. Certification;

  • Five (5) years of experience as a RN or LPN preferred.

  • One (1) year of experience in an Infection Prevention position is required.
