Overview

Role: Lead Custodian

Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dedicated Custodial Lead to ensure a clean and safe environment within our facilities. In this role, you'll perform and lead custodial tasks, operating various industrial cleaning equipment while managing and supervising a team of environmental services staff. If you're passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, we want you on our team!


Responsibilities

  • Perform and lead custodial tasks as needed.
  • Operate various industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Supervise small groups of custodial staff on different shifts.
  • Assume responsibility in the absence of the Account Manager.
  • Assist in staff training, quality control, and in-servicing.
  • Use protective gear during all cleaning tasks.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in Environmental Services, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to understand in-services.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and chemical handling.
  • Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and work various shifts.
  • Must be able to work around cleaning products.
  • Must reside within the service area.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
  • Must provide a criminal background check.
