Job description


We are seeking an experienced Contract & Commercial Manager to oversee contract administration, commercial operations, and project controls for complex EPC and construction projects. This role will manage contracts, support change management, monitor project costs, and provide commercial guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer and vendor contracts, including documentation, compliance, billing, payment applications, bonds, insurance, and project close-out activities.
  • Lead preparation, negotiation, and management of Variation Orders (VOs), Change Orders, and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, cost forecasts, Estimate at Completion (EAC), and commercial reporting using SAP and project management systems.
  • Review vendor and subcontractor quotations, manage compliance requirements, and support contract negotiations.
  • Support risk assessment, cost control, contract interpretation, and commercial decision-making for project teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in contract and commercial management within EPC, construction, industrial, energy, infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Strong experience with contract administration, claims management, change orders, and commercial negotiations.
  • Knowledge of EPC project structures, cost control, billing, payment processes, and contract risk management.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and contract/project controls software.
  • Experience supporting large-scale projects with owners, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CCP, CIPS, or equivalent are preferred.
