Traveling Superintendent (Industrial/Solar) Traveling Superintendent (Industrial/Solar)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Superintendent to oversee and manage our industrial and solar construction projects across various locations. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while leading teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage all aspects of the construction process for utility scale solar projects
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction process
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project status and address any issues promptly
  • Utilize Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management
  • Provide training and support to field personnel to enhance performance and safety on site
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision, particularly in industrial or solar projects
  • Proven experience with utility scale solar projects is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
  • Familiarity with project management software, particularly Primavera P6
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams
  • Ability to travel frequently to various project sites and work in different environments
