This position develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, ergonomics, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><u><b>Key Accountabilities</b></u></H2> </div><div><ul><li>Take ownership of all production process definition and implementation of assigned A/C area(s)</li><li>Provides time studies, capacity analysis (manpower, tooling, capital, and facilities), line balancing, and crew loading, work sampling, and PC computer data analysis</li><li>Develops and maintains engineered time standards.</li><li>Applies statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing assembly processes, labor requirements, and production standards.</li><li>Schedules and sequences job plans (with ME approval) to support effective work flow.</li><li>Supports work specific to detail parts manufacturing and assembly operations of composite and metallic aerospace hardware within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Plans, schedules, and prioritizes work to meet established deadlines.</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><u><b>Qualifications, Experience, and Skills</b></u></H2> </div><div><ul><li>B.S.I.E. (Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology</li><li>3 years fo experience</li><li>Understanding of aircraft manufacturing and industrial engineering.</li><li>Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Technology with proven success in implementation. </li><li>Strategic thinker</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong peer to peer cross functional relationships.</li><li>Negotiation skills.</li><li>Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management, and Lotus Notes.)</li><li>Strong skills in project management.</li><li>Familiar with SAP operating system a plus.</li><li>Familiar with TeamCenter a plus.</li><li>Strong prioritization skills</li><li>Experience in MOST / Six Sigma preferred </li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><u><b>Working Conditions</b></u></H2> </div><div><p>1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.<br />2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.<br />3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).<br />4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.<br />5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.<br />6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.<br />7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties. <br />8.
