What we're looking for:
The Supply Chain Planner (Level 2) supports end-to-end planning performance through strong analytics, cross-functional business partnering, and disciplined planning routines. This role contributes to customer service, working capital, and asset utilization improvements by supporting Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OP), improving planning execution, and building data-driven insights and scenarios to guide decisions.Key Responsibilities
Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / S&OP Support
  • Support monthly IBP/S&OP cycles (Demand, Supply, Inventory) by preparing inputs, analyzing gaps, and documenting decisions.
  • Build and maintain planning models that translate forecast changes into supply, inventory, and capacity implications.
  • Identify risks/opportunities (capacity, materials, lead times, inventory health) and support mitigation actions with owners.
  • Coordinate with Finance and stakeholders to ensure plan assumptions, constraints, and trade-offs are visible and aligned.

Supply Planning, Scheduling, and Inventory Management
  • Support optimized daily/weekly scheduling and mid-range supply plans for assigned assets/products; improve adherence and stability.
  • Maintain planning parameters and governance (lead times, lot sizes, MOQ, time fences, safety stock targets) to improve plan quality.
  • Track and analyze inventory performance (coverage, slow/obsolete risk, safety stock effectiveness) and recommend actions to improve working capital.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Operations, and Logistics to resolve supply issues and improve service outcomes.

Digital, Analytics, and Advanced Scenario Planning
  • Develop dashboards and recurring KPI reporting (service/OTIF, forecast accuracy & bias, inventory health, plan adherence, capacity utilization).
  • Perform root-cause analysis and create scenario comparisons (what-if analysis) to evaluate service/cost/inventory trade-offs under constraints.
  • Automate or streamline data preparation and reporting where possible; contribute to digital improvements in planning processes and tools.

Continuous Improvement & Communication
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual work, improve planning accuracy, and increase decision speed.
  • Communicate findings clearly; prepare summaries and recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate effectively across Commercial, Operations, Logistics, Purchasing, and Finance.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, operations planning, procurement, or a related analytical role.
  • ERP planning experience required (MRP/supply planning fundamentals, planning parameters, and master data governance).
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Pivot, complex formulas; VBA a plus).
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets, build simple models, and translate results into clear actions and recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort presenting to cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP planning expertise preferred (S/4HANA or ECC PP/MM, MRP/MRP Live, planning time fences, lot-sizing, safety stock, master data troubleshooting).
  • Exposure to SAP APO/IBP, PP/DS, SNP, or other advanced planning tools (e.g., o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan).
  • Experience supporting IBP/S&OP routines (pre-work, gap analysis, scenario options, executive-ready outputs).
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau); working knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a plus.
  • Continuous improvement experience (Lean / Six Sigma) and a track record of process simplification and automation.
