Job description

Job Title: Global Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Reno, NV

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000


Day to Day

  • Analyse historical and forecasted indirect spend across categories, sites, and suppliers.
  • Support sourcing strategies for equipment rentals, contract labour, facilities, and MRO.
  • Run RFx processes, evaluate supplier quotes, build cost comparisons, and support award recommendations.
  • Support commercial negotiations and the execution of supplier agreements, rate cards, and rental terms.
  • Track equipment rentals across multiple sites and conduct rent-versus-buy analysis.
  • Benchmark contingent labour rates and audit agency invoices against agreed terms and approved headcount.
  • Maintain preferred supplier lists, catalogues, and pricing within purchasing systems.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery, pricing, and contract compliance.
  • Resolve day-to-day supplier, PO, invoice, and service issues.
  • Produce monthly spend and savings reports and maintain category playbooks and supplier information.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2โ€“5 years' experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, supply chain, finance, or operations analysis.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to build cost models from incomplete data.
  • Experience working with spend data from an ERP or procure-to-pay system such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, NetSuite, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of strategic sourcing, RFx, and procure-to-pay processes.
  • Experience with indirect procurement within manufacturing, construction, heavy industrial, mining, or energy environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of equipment rental agreements, construction contracting, or contingent labour/VMS/MSP solutions is a plus.
  • SQL, Power BI, or Tableau experience is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations.
  • Comfortable working onsite and interacting directly with operational teams, job sites, and warehouses.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes.
  • A genuine interest in sustainability and contributing to a more sustainable future.
