Position Description:
CGI is one of the world's largest independent IT and business consulting services firms. With professionals across the globe, we help clients accelerate digital transformation, improve business outcomes, and deliver innovative solutions that create lasting value. At CGI, you will collaborate with industry leaders, technology experts, and financial institutions to shape the future of lending technology.
CGI is investing in the next generation of secured lending and auto finance technology for banks, credit unions, and financial institutions. We are seeking a seasoned product executive to lead the strategic vision, market expansion, and continued evolution of CGI's Auto Lending Platform and broader secured lending product portfolio.
This leadership role combines strategic product ownership with operational execution and market engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining product strategy, shaping multi-year roadmaps, driving investment decisions, guiding product development, and ensuring commercial success across direct and indirect lending channels.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of product leadership within lending technology, loan origination systems (LOS), digital banking, or enterprise fintech software organizations. This individual must possess deep expertise in secured lending and financial services technology and demonstrate a history of delivering scalable, market-leading software products for financial institutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Establish and lead the strategic vision, product roadmap, and long-term direction for CGI's Auto Lending Platform and related secured lending solutions
Own the complete product lifecycle, including market analysis, business case development, roadmap planning, product development, launch execution, commercialization, adoption, and ongoing optimization
Drive innovation across direct and indirect auto lending capabilities while identifying opportunities for product differentiation and market expansion
Develop and maintain multi-year product roadmaps aligned with customer requirements, industry trends, regulatory expectations, and corporate growth objectives
Prioritize product investments based on business value, customer demand, revenue potential, competitive positioning, and technical feasibility
Partner with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Delivery, and Operations leaders to ensure successful execution of product initiatives
Define compelling product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing, and client engagement teams
Establish and monitor key product performance indicators, including adoption, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, retention, and platform utilization
Engage directly with clients, prospects, industry analysts, and strategic partners to validate market opportunities and influence product direction
Represent CGI at industry conferences, advisory boards, executive briefings, and client-facing events as a recognized thought leader
Present product strategies, investment recommendations, business cases, and roadmap priorities to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Champion modern product management disciplines and best practices across the organization
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline
10+ years of progressive product management, product strategy, or product leadership experience within financial technology, lending technology, banking technology, or enterprise software organizations
5+ years of direct ownership of enterprise software product strategy, roadmap development, feature prioritization, investment decisions, and market delivery
Demonstrated experience managing products through the full lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, roadmap creation, development, launch, commercialization, and optimization
Direct experience working for a lending technology, loan origination system (LOS), digital banking, fintech, or enterprise financial software provider
Proven success launching and scaling software products serving banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions
Strong knowledge of secured lending, consumer lending, commercial lending, auto finance, underwriting, servicing, funding, and lending operations
Experience leading cross-functional teams consisting of Product Management, Engineering, UX, Delivery, Operations, and Go-to-Market stakeholders
Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies and modern product management frameworks
Experience evaluating investment opportunities, developing business cases, and managing product portfolios
Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate market opportunities into scalable platform capabilities and measurable business outcomes
Desired qualifications
MBA or other advanced degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related field
Product leadership experience supporting auto lending, indirect lending, secured lending, commercial lending, or consumer lending platforms
Experience with solutions such as nCino, Finastra, Temenos, Fiserv, Jack Henry, MeridianLink, Blend, Alkami, ICE Mortgage Technology, or similar enterprise financial technology platforms
Experience managing SaaS, cloud-native, platform-based, or subscription software products
Familiarity with API ecosystems, open banking frameworks, third-party integrations, and financial technology partnerships
Demonstrated success delivering products that generated measurable revenue growth, customer acquisition, market expansion, or increased platform adoption
What distinguishes successful candidates
Successful candidates will demonstrate direct accountability for product strategy, roadmap ownership, feature prioritization, investment planning, product development, launch execution, and commercial performance within enterprise software organizations.
This role requires hands-on product leadership experience within software product companies. While consulting, advisory, transformation, implementation, or business analysis experience may provide valuable industry perspective, candidates must possess direct ownership of software product strategy and lifecycle management to be successful in this position.
