Job Description
  • Processes, verifies, and reconciles sales from retail locations, truck locations, third party relationships etc.
  • Manage Month-End process, including but not limited to preparation of financial statements, accruals and journal entries, maintain reconciliations for balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Prepare month end reports for Senior Management
  • Supervise Income Audit, Payroll, and Accounts Payable/Receivable functions: ensure all daily & monthly reporting is accurate and on time, preparation of weekly tip upload, review & post biweekly payroll journals, ensure all related policies & procedures are followed
  • Understand and possess a working knowledge of the Accounting & Finance Manual
  • Assist the CEO and Senior Management Team in maintaining adherence to internal controls throughout the company

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • Financial Modeling
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory and practice
  • 3-5+ years accounting/finance experience
  • Experience in the restaurant industry is required
  • Highly detailed oriented and organized in work
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from CEO and Senior Management to accomplish objectives
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, email and Microsoft Office applications especially with Excel lookup and pivot tables. Experience with CTUIT, Restaurant365, Compeat and other restaurant financial platforms is preferred.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
