Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are currently searching for a Delivery Driver I. Successful candidates will share in the company's passion for providing excellent care and service to our clients; have excellent customer service and must be outcome oriented. Drivers are responsible for safe delivery, setup and training the patient on medical equipment supplies in our customers' residences, offices, and facilities, and provide highly responsible patient care services.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
  • Safely drives and maintains company vehicles
  • Securely loads and stages delivery vehicles
  • Prioritizes and coordinates deliveries, pick-ups, and services calls in an efficient manner
  • Functionally checks and selects ordered medical equipment and supplies
  • Professional and clear communication skills
  • Educates home care customers and other end users on medical equipment operations by covering key operating features and performing demonstrations
  • Documents customer's response to care or services provided, the actions and interventions taken, and outcomes of the care provided
  • Provides superior customer service and interaction with patients and customers that may be of various ages
  • Collects and documents accurate patient information for billing and updated medical information
  • Demonstrates a practical knowledge of cleaning techniques and processes applicable to the industry
  • Must demonstrate efficiency and productivity in a fast paced environment with unscheduled interruptions while maintaining acceptable judgment, responsibility, and assumption for decisions
  • Effective time management skills while working independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Clean driving and criminal background check, and clean drug test
  • Valid driver's license
  • Flexible work schedule, as needed
  • Requires the ability to lift and carry machinery and/or equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent education a plus
  • Microsoft Office suite experience (especially Excel)
  • Ability to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally
  • Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
