Independent Contractor Virtual Appointment Setter information

What is an independent contractor virtual appointment setter?

An Independent Contractor Virtual Appointment Setter is a self-employed professional who remotely schedules appointments on behalf of businesses or sales teams. Unlike traditional employees, independent contractors manage their own schedules, pay their own taxes, and are not entitled to employee benefits. Their main responsibility is to contact leads or clients, qualify them, and arrange meetings or calls for sales representatives. They typically work from home using phone, email, and scheduling software. This role is popular in industries like real estate, healthcare, and business services where efficient scheduling is critical.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an independent contractor virtual appointment setter?

To thrive as an Independent Contractor Virtual Appointment Setter, you need strong communication skills, proficiency in scheduling, and prior experience in customer service or sales. Familiarity with CRM systems, online calendar tools, and virtual meeting platforms is typically required. Exceptional time management, self-motivation, and resilience help set top performers apart in this remote role. These skills ensure efficient client engagement, accurate scheduling, and consistent results in a self-directed work environment.

What are some common challenges faced by independent contractor virtual appointment setters, and how can they be managed?

Independent Contractor Virtual Appointment Setters often face challenges such as handling high call volumes, managing rejections, and maintaining motivation while working remotely. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills to keep track of leads and appointments, as well as resilience to handle frequent 'no' responses. Setting a structured daily routine, using CRM tools efficiently, and actively communicating with the client or team can help manage these challenges and improve performance. Continuous self-motivation and time management are key to thriving in this independent work environment.

Job description

Remote Sales Representative / Appointment Setter โ€” Commission + Residuals

ReviewCore | Remote | Independent Contractor | 100% Commission

ReviewCore is looking for independent sales representatives to help grow our reputation management service for dental practices.

This is a 100% commission-based independent contractor opportunity. There is no hourly wage or base salary.

We are hiring for both appointment-setting and full-cycle sales opportunities, depending on experience and ability.

What is ReviewCore?

ReviewCore helps dental practices manage their online reputation by monitoring patient reviews, creating professional and human-sounding responses, identifying reputation issues, and helping practices consistently manage how they appear to potential patients online.

Our service is $497/month plus a one-time $500 setup fee.

What You'll Do

You'll contact targeted dental practices and speak with practice owners and other decision-makers about problems we've identified with their online reputation.

ReviewCore provides:

  • Targeted dental practice leads
  • Research on the practices you're contacting
  • Structured cold-call frameworks
  • Sales and product training
  • Objection-handling materials
  • Practice and roleplay training
  • Personalized reputation audits used during the sales process

You are not expected to build your own lead lists or develop your own sales system.

Two Sales Tracks

Appointment Setter

Your primary responsibility is outbound prospecting and generating qualified sales opportunities.

You'll:

  • Make outbound calls to provided leads
  • Navigate front-desk gatekeepers
  • Reach owners and decision-makers
  • Introduce ReviewCore using our sales framework
  • Book qualified reputation-audit appointments

ReviewCore will handle the audit and closing process.

Compensation:

  • $150 for each new client who closes from your appointment
  • 10% recurring commission on that client's $497 monthly service fee
  • Recurring commissions can continue for up to 12 months while both you and the client remain active
  • No commission cap

One client can generate up to approximately $746 in total commission during the first 12 months.

Full-Cycle Sales Representative

Experienced representatives may handle the complete sales process.

You'll:

  • Prospect using provided leads
  • Reach decision-makers
  • Book reputation audits
  • Conduct the sales/audit conversation
  • Follow up with prospects
  • Close new ReviewCore clients

Compensation:

  • $300 for each new client you close
  • 15% recurring commission on that client's $497 monthly service fee
  • Recurring commissions can continue for up to 12 months while both you and the client remain active
  • No commission cap

One client can generate up to approximately $1,195 in total commission during the first 12 months.

Appointment setters who demonstrate strong performance may have the opportunity to move into the full-cycle sales role.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are:

  • Comfortable making outbound cold calls
  • Natural and professional on the phone
  • Confident speaking with business owners and decision-makers
  • Able to handle rejection and keep moving
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Interested in building performance-based and recurring income

Previous experience in B2B sales, appointment setting, cold calling, dental or healthcare sales, digital marketing, SaaS, merchant services, insurance, or other small-business sales is helpful but not required.

Work Arrangement

This is a remote independent contractor opportunity.

There is no required number of hours or fixed work schedule. You determine when and how much you work.

Because prospects are U.S.-based dental practices, calling during normal U.S. business hours will generally provide the best opportunity to reach decision-makers.

Independent representatives are free to perform services for other businesses.

Important Compensation Information

This position has no guaranteed salary or hourly compensation. Earnings are entirely commission-based.

Recurring commissions are earned monthly and are paid only while the representative remains an active ReviewCore contractor in good standing and the associated client remains active and paying. Future recurring commissions do not continue after the contractor relationship ends.

Any commissions already earned before the contractor relationship ends remain payable according to the applicable commission agreement.

The compensation range displayed by Indeed represents potential commission earnings based on individual sales performance and is not guaranteed.

Full commission terms will be provided in writing before beginning work.

Selection Process

Selected applicants will complete a short introductory conversation followed by a mock sales call.

We're more interested in your ability to communicate, learn the process, and perform on the phone than having the perfect rรฉsumรฉ.

  • If you're comfortable picking up the phone, talking to business owners, and being compensated directly based on the results you produce, we'd like to hear from you.
