JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing new business in-home sales opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored pest management solutions. This role is responsible for driving new business through networking, referral and creative prospecting. The ideal candidate is motivated by results, enjoys working outdoors, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Generate new residential accounts through prospecting, networking, referrals, and inbound leads.
  • Conduct property inspections to identify pest issues and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
  • Present pest control programs, service options, and pricing to potential customers with professionalism and confidence.
  • Follow up on sales leads, prepare quotes, and close contracts to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Conduct annual follow-up visits with clients to ensure quality has been met and that customers are satisfied.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, training sessions, and company promotions or events.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work truck
  • Represent the company's brand and with integrity and a focus on the company's core values.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related studies is ideal but not required.
  • 2-4 years' prior experience in the pest control area preferred
  • Prior experience and/or training in pet control sales preferred
  • Ability to learn technical aspects of pest control services.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; must pass MVR check
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of pest control services, common treatments, and the specific needs of residential and commercial properties.
  • Familiarity with sales processes, including prospecting, lead generation, closing techniques, and the use of CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to engage clients, address concerns, problem solve, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Persuasive selling and negotiation abilities to confidently present products and close sales.
  • Ability to conduct property inspections, accurately assess pest issues, and collaborate effectively with operations and service teams.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, outdoor, and people-oriented environments while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment and following safety protocols.
  • Ability to safely operate pest control tools and equipment and accurately interpret and follow service instructions, safety procedures, and product information.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail; able to work independently, follow instructions, and achieve sales goals.
